Fundraising with AABL
Leverage your member base to improve financial performance
Let AABL help your organization raise money with a sponsorship program designed for non-profit organizations (churches, schools, clubs, fraternal organizations...). Certain businesses—e.g., publishers and internet or information service providers—may also qualify for affiliate status. Your sponsors receive valuable online promotional and communication services and reward you with donations.
Member and sponsor benefits include a social network and a sponsor directory that also incorporates them into the global AABL Directory.

Qualifications
You must be a non-profit organization (church, school, club, fraternal organization...) or a locally focused businesses such as publishers and internet or information service providers.
You must have policies that favor the development of African American businesses, striving to promote income and opportunity for all.

Potential Revenue
Suggested donations are set by the owner-operator of each affiliate site. The program is intended to supplement, not replace, other fundraising activities. Suggested levels, donations and benefits
- basic member, suggested donation $2 monthliy; or no charge at organization's discretion.
- sustaining member $5-$10, enhanced social network permissions.
- bronze, $10-$20, enhanced membership plus directory listing.
- silver, $20-$50, all bronze plus full page ad linked to highlighted listing.
- gold, $50-$100, all silver plus banner ad appearing in random rotation inside affiliate site*.
- platinum, $100-$200, all gold plus banner ad appearing in random rotation on home page of affiliate site* and in AABL.
Value is enhanced by the nesting of the local directory within the larger national and international scope of AABL, giving each sponsor global accessibility.
Estimated Expenses
Setup of an affiliate is $300 and includes the first month's minimum support fee of $100. Sponsor listings start at $2 per month per sponsor. This is usually offset by listing fees.

*Optional banner ad creative services extra; no charge for insertion of conforming banners submitted by sponsor. An optional discounted annual donation in advance is recommended. Labeling of donor classes in lieu of bronze... platinum is set by the affiliate.

- Each affiliate receives a personal or business site. Content can be managed using simple forms without learning HTML, FTP, CSS or other alphabet soup. Use your site for promoting AABL-based fundraising or as your primary website. Your website includes tools to help you succeed.

Membership
Convert casual users/visitors to members of your website to form your own social network. Members have a personal profile and access to features like a blog, image album and peer contact form. The member login allows user to create and manage a directory listing with optional full-page description of their organizaiton or business, all maintained through a simple interface with no need to learn special "web stuff."Directory
AABL directory listings created through the affiliation also serve as a local group directory and may appear in a directory within the affiliate site. Thus they are searchable at multiple levels.Newsletter
A weblog serves as a newsletter for the affiliated site.Gallery
A gallery of nested albums contains easily organized images. Individual images may occur in multiple categories and may be linked for use in other features of the site.Contacts
Members may easily send private messages, and visitors may send inquiries and requests to the site's owner-operator.
